USF Baseball Falls to Seton Hall

The Bulls, after winning the first two games of the series, fell today 6 to 0 as the offense decided to head home early and Nick Reed had a rough outing.

Reed went 6.1 innings, giving up 6 hits, 5 runs, and walking 3 batters, dropping his record to 2-3 on the year. Carlin, Longley, Taylor, and Ramsay each had a hit, but no one else was able to do anything as the Bulls fell to 17-18 (7-5), so close yet so far from .500 baseball.

The Bulls return home and face #21 Stetson on Tuesday night at 7 PM. Stetson, who defeated USF just last week 9 to 1 in Deland, is now 29-7 and playing some of their best baseball on the year. This is going to be a tough game for the Bulls, they will have to figure out how to get on base and move runners and get some better starting pitching out of the rotation.
