After a two hour weather delay and another delay later in the 4th quarter, the Bulls, after 7 hours of football, beat Notre dame 23 to 20!!!
The Bulls, being played down by many, were able to keep the ball, control the game, and got won of the biggest wins in program history.
The game started with ND driving and the defense looking bad. But a stripped ball by Jerell Young and Kayvon Webster jumping on the fumble came out and scored a touchdown for the Bulls they got it started for USF. Bonani had 3 field goals before half time to put the Bulls up before the break, but the offense could have done more. Daniels was hampered by his hamstring a little bit (slick field didn't help) and mis-communication didn't help either.
Late in the second half, the Irish were driving, but USF responded and was able to get a touchdown pass to Evan Landi to go up and take the lead for good.
Daniels finished the night 18 of 30 for 128 yards and one touchdown to Landi (sacked once for a 6 yard loss). Demetris Murray led the way for 14 carries and 40 yards. He had a long of 12 yards and had several nice gains for the Bulls. Daniels had 13 for 37 yards as the offense was able to let him loose. Darrell Scott had 12 carries for 38 yards as he got onto the field for the first time on the field. Lamar had 2 carries for 18 yards and made the last play of the game on the on-side kick to seal the deal for USF.
Sterling Griffin made 8 receptions for 75 yards to lead the receiving group, showing no rust and really looking like the lead receiver for USF. Love had 2 receptions for 26 yards (welcome back to the field). Evan Landi had 3 for 14 yards including the go ahead touchdown pass. Shields had 1 reception for 12 yards (did get banged up but finished the game for the Bulls). Lamar had 2 receptions for 3 yards, Murray had 1 for 1 yard and Marc had 1 reception for negative three yards (sigh, he will get better).
The defense came up big for the Bulls despite allowing Floyd to get huge plays. Lanaris, Young, and Lattimore all had interceptions as the Irish couldn't figure out their quarterback situation and set out Rees in the second half of the game. The defense contained the Irish attack, did their job, and came away with a huge win.
This is just our first reaction, there will be more to come tomorrow, this is huge and we are celebrating tonight!! Congrats to all the hard work the players did tonight, incredible win.

After four years of his garbage when he was at Cincinnati and finally getting a shot at payback. We can gladly say $#!@4 you Brian Kelly! $#!@$ your spread option offense garbage, $#!@$ your dream job at the won't join a conference because they're so much better than everyone pretentious Notre Dame team.
