USF Beats UCF, Sweeps Weekend

Claire Lessinger and her ladies are all smiles after a big weekend.
After an 0-5 start to the season, the Bulls have rallied for 4 straight wins including a big match yesterday against UCF in their invitational tournament.

USF looked rough rough in the first set, falling 11 to 25, but battled their way through the next three sets to win the match and improve to 4-5 on the season.

J'beria Davis had 15 kills to lead the way for the Bulls. Valerie El Houssine had 12 kills along with 7 digs. Shelbie Dailey had 41 assists as the Bulls top players came up big for Claire Lessinger and helped them sweep the tournament and continue to play at a high level.

The Bulls will next travel to Wisconsin to take on Wisconsin and Western Michigan in the Wisconsin Inntowner Challenge starting on Friday night at 7 PM. Hopefully the ladies can keep the win streak going and get back to .500 or more in this weekend's tournament.
