USF Men's Soccer Drops Game to Bradley

Well the undefeated season is over for Coach Keifer as the Bulls drop the first game of the 2011 season to number 23 Bradley 2 to 1.

The Bulls (3-1-0) came into the game ranked 8th in the country and were expecting a tough game and they got it from the Braves. USF went ahead early in the contest with a corner kick in the 16th minute that allowed Ben Sweat to set up the goal for Ashani Fairclough, putting USF ahead 1 to 0 for a long time.

The teams would exchange a few shots (Dwyer had 2 shots on the night) before Bradley got on the board in the 82nd minute of the match, pushing the game into overtime. The Bulls lasted just 35 seconds in overtime when Blais allowed a ball to get by him, sending USF to the loss (Bradley now 4-0-1, solid team).

The Bulls will try to get back to their winning ways when they take on Dartmouth on Sunday. This is not a terrible loss for the Bulls, simply a misplay by Blais in the overtime period, so hopefully they can get back to work against Dartmouth.
