USF Volleyball Beats BCU

The ladies finally got their first win of the season today.
After a rough few days for the USF ladies, they were able to get a solid, clean win this afternoon as they took all 3 sets against BCU and improve to 1-4 on the season.

They won 25 to 16, 25 to 14, and 25 to 22 (got close at the end) as the ladies were able to put together a solid game and maintain it through all three sets. USF has shown at times they have the talent and can play well, but with 6 new players, the flow hasn't been there yet. Maybe this is the game they needed to get back to winning.

J'Beria Davis had 12 kills and 2 digs. Andrea Rodriguez Gomez had 4 kills and 2 digs. Valerie El Houssine continues to shine in her freshman season. She had 15 kills and 10 digs, doing a bit of everything for Lessinger. Shelbie Dailey had 2 kills and 36 sets, working well in the center of the court.

This was an all around solid win for the Bulls, glad they could get a win this weekend and hopefully begin to turn it around. They will next take on FAU on Saturday at 1PM in the UCF Invitational.
