From Adam Adkins - As the Bulls prepare for the game on Saturday afternoon, the team will be happy to play in warmer conditions compared to the snow of two years ago, especially with the flu virus that is working its way through the locker room.
Holtz mentioned that many of the players are dealing with flu like symptoms, a common occurrence during this time of year in Florida when the weather begins to change (ever so slightly). The cold bug won't hold anyone out of the game, but is something to keep an eye on.
Overall, the team is healthy except for Terrence Mitchell who is still questionable for the game. He suffered a concussion three weeks ago in the win over UTEP and is still recovering, being carefully monitored by the coaches. Coaches will not push him and will only let him return to the field when the doctors allow him to. It would appear that A.J. Love (ankle) and Quenton Washington (knee) should be ready to play after dealing with some minor injuries in the game two weeks ago. Wide receiver is the only other player that could be out for the game as he continues to wear at boot on his foot. The fastest man in the Big East (track) has not made an impact this season and won't this weekend either.
