USF Ladies Drop Rough Game on Road to Syracuse

The Bulls suffered another tough loss last night.
The USF ladies have had a long season, battling teams into overtime more than normal and falling just short of victory in so many games.  The Bulls hit this final stretch of their schedule hoping for some late magic to keep their postseason dreams alive, but the Orange had other plans.

The Bulls battled Syracuse into double overtime and with just seconds left on the clock, they put a goal in, winning the game 1 to 0.  Chelsea Klotz led the attack with 10 shots and goalkeeper Nicole McClure had 6 saves, but she couldn't make the 7th one.

The loss sends USF to a 5-7-4 (1-5-3) record on the season, putting their postseason dreams to bed (as of now at least).  The ladies will take the field again on Sunday afternoon (1PM) as they take on St. John's University and try to get a late season win.
