The USF offense continues to spread the ball around and one of the receivers that has been stepping up is Victor Marc. The 5-11 220-pound slot receiver impressed the coaches this off-season and has been rewarded early and often this season.
So far, Marc has made 10 receptions for 127 yards, including a touchdown and a 67 yard touchdown run.
Marc really impressed the coaching staff during the Fall camp with his catching ability. It seemed that everything that was thrown his way was caught, giving Daniels and Eveld a reliable receiver.
Marc has great hands and has enough speed and durability to become a solid receiver for the Bulls. With Landi blocking more at the tight end position and A.J. Love hampered by an ankle sprain (suffered last week) he has a chance to impress these next two weeks. With Terrence Mitchell coming off of a concussion, he will get plenty of snaps during practice.
Watch for Marc to get more playing and continue to put up solid numbers for Daniels and the offense, both through the air and on the ground.
