Another weekend is in the books and talk about a wild one. There were upsets all over the place and the Big East had its own mini-upset that will now change the conference standings. Let's see if any of us were able to improve their records after this weekend.
Rutgers over Cincinnati
With Collaros out, Munchie couldn't do a thing against Rutgers. Rutgers showed some fight and it seems Chas Dodd has sparked their offense, at least for the moment. With Cincinnati going down, it leaves the Big East with a log-jam at the top, but what else is new here? We all take a loss here, so much for picking the team that was suppose to win.
Me: 38-22
Jim: 39-21
Mike: 42-18
Miami over USF
I don't want to talk any more about this game. We all get a loss.
Me: 38-23
Jim: 39-22
Mike: 42-19
Louisville over UCONN
The Cardinals offense is hot and cold and for this game, they were on fire (it terms of Big East fire). Bridgewater continues to grow under center and is doing a solid job. The Huskies couldn't do a thing on offense, but then again, their receivers didn't catch a ball either to help. Mike gets lucky with his pick here and pulls ahead a bit more in the standings.
Me: 38-24
Jim: 39-23
Mike: 43-19
So Mike continues to lead this awful race. With 2 more weekends of play to go, can he keep his lead or will one of us come back to over take him!
