The Louisville offense brings a spread system that will look to spread the ball out all over the field. The Cardinals have a young quarterback, but talented skill players that have a lot of speed that can pressure the Bulls defense. Let's see what we are up against in this game.
Offensive line
Starting at left tackle is junior Alex Kupper (6-3 295-pounds). Freshman Aaron Epps (6-5 265-pounds) is the back-up. Freshman John Miller (6-2 295-pounds) is the starting left tackle (young at this spot). Freshman Jamon Brown (6-4 305-pounds) is his back-up. Junior Mario Benavides (6-4 300-pounds) is the starting center. Junior John Clark (6-2 305-pounds) is his back-up (solid experience at the center). Freshman Jake Smith (6-3 315-pounds) is the starting right guard (another young player in the inside interior of the Cardinal line). Sophomore Hunter Stout (6-4 291-pounds) is the back-up. Senior Ryan Kessling (6-5 304-pounds) is the starting right tackle. Freshman Chris Acosta (6-3 275-pounds) is the back-up.
Quarterback
Louisville is led by freshman Teddy Bridgewater (6-2 193-pounds). Bridgewater was recruited by USF last season, so the Bulls know all about his ability. He has completed 145 passes out of 225 throws for 1614 yards, including 9 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. He has also run 72 times for 223 yards and 3 touchdowns since taking over for junior Will Stein. Stein (5-10 176-pounds) completed 52 of 84 passes for 620 yards before being replaced. He threw 5 touchdowns and 1 interception on the year.
Running backs
The Cards have several solid running backs that Bridgewater can hand off too. Senior Victor Anderson (5-10 189-pounds) has 89 carries for 460 yards and 3 touchdowns on the season. Sophomore Dominique Brown (6-2 221-pounds) has 110 carries for 455 yards and 3 touchdowns, giving the Cards a great one-two punch. Jeremy Wright (5-11 199-pounds) has 71 carries for 355 yards and 1 touchdown. Sophomore Senorise Perry (6-0 201-pounds) has 11 carries for 47 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Receiving
The X-receiver is freshman DeVante Parker (6-2 180-pounds). He has 14 receptions for 234 yards and 4 touchdowns. Junior Andrell Smith (6-4 209-pounds) is his back-up. He has 10 receptions for 199 yards and 1 touchdown. The H-receiver is senior Josh Bellamy (6-0 206-pounds) he has 18 receptions for 178 yards and one touchdown. Freshman Eli Rogers (5-10 184-pounds) has 30 receptions for 316 yards and 1 touchdown as well. Freshman Michaelee Harris (6-0 198-pounds) is the starter that the Z-receiver spot. He has 35 receptions for 438 yards and 2 touchdowns. Sophomore Jarrett Davis (5-10 172-pounds) has 12 for 102 yards. Senior tight end Josh Chichester (6-8 240-pounds) is always a huge match-up issue. He has 26 catches for 347 yards and one touchdown (look for him in the redzone). Sophomore Chris White (6-4 243-pounds) has 4 receptions for 61 yards.
