Five Days of Christmas: Day 2

We are getting closer to the last day in the countdown (day one is coming). So far, we have gotten the softball season, new facilities, and spiffy new uniforms from athletics, not a bad haul, but now we get another gift from USF. Let's see what it could be.

Number two: Young talent

The football season was a frustrating one and the basketball team is not off to a great start to the season (can they break 10 wins this year?). But both program, along with others in athletics, are loaded with young talent and continue to stockpile for the years to come.

Take for example the football team. Young players such as Davis, Welch, Eatmon, Watson, and others all stepped in this season during their freshmen year, and contributed at a high level. The basketball team is seeing the new facilities pay off as top prospects are now looking and picking USF. Young stars like Blake Nash and Anthony Collins are already putting on a show for the Bulls Nation.

The soccer team continues to recruit bright stars like Dom Dwyer, the softball team is loaded with young athletes like Sara Nevins, who are just scratching the surface of their talents, it's an exciting time for USF.
