The Bulls are on a role in the last 48 hours. This time, USF has landed a commitment from defensive end Tevin Mims (6-4 250-pounds) out of Navarro College (first reported by Bulls 247).
Mims, the former 4-star recruit, was originally recruited by Texas before transferring to Navarro College where he played one season, totaling 19 tackles, 7 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. Adding him helps the depth of the defensive end spot, an area of concern entering the season due to the lack of depth. He should be able to join the rotation while young players learn and get more experience.
This is a nice commit for USF as they continue to piece together a solid recruiting class. The coaching staff is still after a few key positions (quarterback, running back, etc.) but this is a nice start.
