The USF ladies, 6-4, will be playing their first game since the 3rd as they hit the road to take on Auburn (5-2) as USF tries to notch a huge road win. The Bulls will need the guards to come up big and Akila McDonald and Kaitlin Rowe will have to use their size advantage inside the paint to get the huge win for the Bulls. Auburn is coming off of a 57 to 73 point loss to Temple, so they will be looking to get back to winning (game starts at 7PM).
Auburn is led by freshman guard Hasina Muhammad (6-1) who is averaging 10.7 points a game and 3.9 rebounds a game. Sophomore guard/forward Tyrese Tanner (6-1) is averaging 10.6 points a game and 4.1 rebounds a game, attacking the paint for the Tigers and will be a key battle for Rowe and McDonald in the paint.
Senior guard Morgan Jennings (5-8) is averaging 6.1 points a game, 4.6 rebounds a game, and has 32 assists on the season (4.57 assists per game) so look for her to run the offense and get things going. Sophomore forward Jassany Williams (6-2) has 6.1 points a game and 4.4 rebounds a game. Senior forward/center Chentel Hilliard (6-2) has 5.6 points a game and 4.1 rebounds a game, adding another weapon in the paint USF has to battle with. Look out for sophomore guard Camille Glymph (5-10) who is averaging 10 points a game and 2.3 rebounds a game off the bench and junior guard/forward Blanche Alverson (6-3) with 9.1 points a game and 4.4 rebounds a game, both will play a huge role off the bench to attack USF.
USF has the size inside the paint and with Wynne and others playing at high levels right now, they will have a real challenge on the road. Auburn plays well at home and will pressure USF big time. The Bulls need to come out strong and take care of business and try to get a big win on the road.
