Inga Orekhova: The Rifle

(Picture: www.gousfbulls.com)
The Bulls went 15 games into the season before one of the most talented recruits in recent history, Inga Orekhova, could step on the court for Coach Fernandez. The Rifle, as her teammates and coaches have nicknamed her due to her quick release, has been firing away in just the 3 games played since the suspension.

The 6'2" guard has been firing away since she has gotten the chance to play for the Bulls. In her three games, she is averaging 16.3 points per game. She is shooting 43% from the floor and 41% from 3-point range. She is 13 of 32 from beyond the arch, showing her incredible range and accuracy despite taking nearly 10 3-point shots a game!

Orekhova is not all about the offense. She is getting after it on defense, averaging 3 rebounds a game, adding 2 blocks and 6 steals in the three games, using her incredible athletic ability and size to get the ball back for the Bulls.

The Bulls are 10-8 and begin a tough stretch of the schedule, but with the hot shooting of the rifle from the perimeter, the Bulls might have just enough offensive firepower to win a few more games.
