The USF ladies, after another close loss to a ranked team, remain at home as they take on Seton Hall again. USF is 11-9 (3-3) on the season, looking to improve their record against a 7-13 (0-6) Seton Hall team that is coming off of a close loss to Syracuse.
The Bulls won 68 to 49 in the first match-up on the road this season. Inga Orekhova had 20 points in the first game and Jasmine Wynne had 14, so look for the Bulls to find their shooting range as they try to notch another big home win (USF is 5-2 at home this season) (game starts at 7PM at the Rec Center).
Seton Hall is led by senior guard Jasmine Crew (5-7) who is averaging 19.1 points per game, 4.1 rebounds per game, 3.65 assists per game and leads the team with 31 steals. Junior guard Brittany Morris (5-6) is averaging 12.7 points per game and 2.9 rebounds per game, making up the only two Seton Hall players to average over double digits in points this season.
Sophomore forward Nicosia Henry (6-0) is averaging 4.9 points per game and 2.5 rebounds per game. Junior forward Alexandra Maseko (6-2) is averaging 4.5 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game. Senior center Tajay Ashmeade (6-3) is averaging 4.8 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game.
Senior guard Alexis Brown (5-7) is averaging 3.1 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per game. Junior forward Terry Green (6-0) is averaging 7 points per game and 1.6 rebounds per game in limited action.
The Bulls really need to come out in this game and get the win. The team went 12-19 (3-13) last year and they have a chance to equal the win total and improve in the Big East standings. The Bulls have the firepower and the home crowd behind them as they look for a big win.
