The USF ladies got a big win on the road against Seton Hall today, 68 to 49. The Bulls are now 10-8 (2-2) after dominating the entire game. The USF offense was on fire, shooting 42% from the floor, including 40% from 3-point range. The defense was also in lockdown mode, holding the Pirates to just 27% shooting, including 7.7% from 3-point range (wow).
Jasmine Wynne had 14 points and 4 rebounds on the afternoon. Inga Orekhova had 20 points (shooting 5 of 9 from 3-point range) and added 4 rebounds. Tiffany Conner had 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Caitlin Rowe had 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks before she fouled out late in the second half. Shalethia Stringfield had 3 points in the start as well.
Tahira Johnson had 4 points and 3 rebounds. Kaneisha Saunders had 10 points , 2 rebounds, and 2 assists as well off the bench as the Bulls dominated the pace of the game and were in cruise control at half time.
The ladies return home for a big game against DePaul on Tuesday night (game starts at 7PM) as the ladies begin a huge 3-game home stand (home games are in the Rec Center).
