Tyler Cameron Announces for the Bulls

From USF 247 - After months of recruiting and speculation, 4-star Jupiter High School dual-threat QB Tyler Cameron was ready to end the recruiting process. The talented star had narrowed his options down to Illinois, Purdue, LSU, and South Florida. His early list of offers included the likes of Cincinnati, Michigan State, Wake Forest, and Boston College among a good amount of others. Being from Palm Beach County, I happened to know someone close to the situation, and my Twitter followers got an eyeful of this:

The #6 quarterback of the 2012 class comes to a squad that will have two pro-style QBs behind the experienced dual-threat B.J. Daniels. At 6'3", 215 lbs Cameron has good size and has the talent to play immediately, but since Daniels will be a Senior, it wouldn't surprise us to see him redshirted in his freshman year. Everyone knows no commitment is final until the guys show up on the field (and sometimes not even then), but if all these current players stick to their word, then USF will be adding another 4-star athlete to an already outstanding recruiting class that was ranked 20th in the country in Rivals.com's initial 2012 rankings.

USF Offers 2012 Tampa Safety

The Bulls have offered a local talent this time in the never ending world of recruiting. USF has recently offered 4-star (according to Scout.com) safety Nelson Agholor. Agholor, the 6'1" 175-pound star out of Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida is a high rising star that will pose a huge challenge to the Bulls to keep home.

Agholor was named 1st team All-Hillborough County by the Tampa Tribune, playing as a receiver, a return specialist and as a lock down defender. He has incredible speed and can fly to the ball carrier. He could play cornerback, but will probably stay at safety. He needs to add a few pounds of muscle and work on his overall tackling ability, but his incredible speed and athletic ability make him a prime player and the competition for his services is at an all time high and will only grow.

USF joins a very elite group of offers for Agholor. Programs such as Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, TCU, Texas and even USC (west coast coming to Florida now?) have all offered, meaning Coach Holtz and staff will have to work their miracle to keep the fence up in the backyard and keep Agholor at home (hard to see him staying in Tampa unless USF is simply his dream school).

Check out some of his game footage from last season. Agholor is simply all over the field and would be a huge, huge signing for the Bulls. The competition is tough and he will only get more offers in the near future, but who can blame other programs, a talent like Agholor would be a huge addition to any team.

USF Offers 2012 Running Back

From Scout.com - The Bulls, never taking day off, have recently offered 2012 running back prospect MacGarrett Kings out of University School of Nova in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

The 5'10" 180-pound start is rated as the 44th best running back prospect in the class of 2012 (rated as a 3-star recruit). In his junior season, Kings helped lead the way for his team to the state title, rushing for 30 touchdowns, showing his incredible ability to find the endzone.

Kings already has a large numbers of offers on the table including Bowling Green, Buffalo, Cincinnati, FSU, Louisville, UCF, Wake Forest, WVU, Wisconsin and now USF.

Kings is a very fast and shifty running back, making him an ideal player to line up in the backfield or simply throw the ball to in open space. The competition is already thick for him and there are plenty of other schools that will offer this highly productive running back.

Check out some of the footage of Kings from his sophomore season. As you can see he has great hands and can get downfield in the passing game, using his body well and bringing the ball into his body. He is also a threat in the return game. He has 4.4 speed and incredible footwork. He is an electric player that the Bulls should watch carefully.
