It is strange to take a random guess at what uniform combination the Bulls will be wearing for their season opener tomorrow at Notre Dame.
For years, the green, gold, and white has been the USF standard, switching to the white helmet just two seasons ago. The Bulls continued to wear the white helmet all through last season, seeming to replace the gold helmet. Uniform choices for home games were decided by the seniors, but they typically remained the same for all of the games.
However, this season, the Bulls have a new helmet, the green helmet, and we might get a chance to see it tomorrow. While this is pure speculation on our part, Bill McGillis tweeted that he had sent a green helmet to CBS Sports for their telecast, most likely to discuss USF, the new uniforms, and also have at the broadcast booth as they have for all games.
The image above has surfaced, it is nothing official and seems to be just an artist redention of the speculated away uniform, but is still cool to see. What do you think, will the Bulls roll out the white helmet or the new green helmet? Will they go pure white uniforms (storm trooper look) or will they have the green pants? Let's hear your ideas!

I'm not loving the all green and white...I think some gold has to be thrown in there!
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see what they do put together.
ReplyDeleteI am curious as to why he would have sent a helmet to CBS for a game that will be televised on NBC.
