Jimmy Fall returns for his junior season as one of the veterans of the USF team. Fall hit just .240 last season, blasting 2 home runs, and driving in 14 RBIs on the season. He had 11 walks and 38 strike outs, showing his over aggressive style at the plate. He did finish the year with a .311 OBP, but the high strikeout total has to be reduced to get on base on a consistent basis.
2011 was a down season for Falla after a strong freshman campaign in 2010 when he hit .273, including 2 home runs and 10 RBIs, finishing with a .338 OBP (walked 3 times and struck out 20 times, so still bad numbers there).
