Week 3 Big East Blog Poll

Another week, another win for the Bulls. Yesterday we saw USF inch their way up to #20 in the AP poll and #22 in the Coaches' Poll. Now, the wait for the Week 3 Big East Bloggers Poll is over, and Big East fans will be happy to see two teams receiving votes. First, you can see the ballots of myself and Matt below, after the jump.

Week 1 Big East Blog Poll

Congratulations to USF, who broke into the AP rankings at #22 in the country after their victory over Notre Dame in South Bend. Now, we'd like to release our own poll, which includes ballots from myself, Matt, Jim from HailWV, Bryan from Pitt Script, Scott from BearcatsBlog, and Brian from Orange:44. First, here's my ballot:

2011 Preseason Big East Blogger Poll Results

A few days after the release of the Big East media poll, in which South Florida was picked to finish third behind West Virginia and Pittsburgh, we bloggers across the conference have put together our own ballots reflecting how we feel the conference will shape up this year. The bloggers who submitted ballots were of course myself and Matt, Jim from HailWV, Scott from Bearcats Blog, Brian from Orange::44,Bryan from PittScriptBlog, Bryan from The Fighting Wannstaches, and our newest addition to the blogroll, Jerry from NJ.com. Before the final results, here's my ballot and Matt's ballot. As you can see, we're just as confident in the Bulls as we were at the beginning of the summer. The final results of the poll weren't quite as favorable for USF, as they were just barely overtaken for the #1 spot (Thanks a lot, Jim).

End of Spring Top 25

With the conclusion of spring practices last weekend, we fans have a long summer of anticipation ahead of us with no football talk until summer practices begin. I spent last summer on the couch every day looking for recruiting news and waiting for ESPN to start talking college football. Take my advice: don't do that. Sure, you'll be well-informed and know pretty much everything there is to know around the world of college football, but you'll lose your mind with the anticipation of football season. Of course, there are just 112 days until USF kicks off in South Bend, but if I don't learn to be patient, I don't think I'll even make it to September 3rd. The best way we here at TBR had to cope with the suffering of waiting was to compose our own Top 25. By the beginning of the season we're going to have input from bloggers all around the Big East, but for now we're going solo. So, without any more delay, check out where we placed the Top 25 teams in the nation after the jump.
