Men Take on Villanova

The USF men are taking on Villanova tonight at the Sun Dome at 7 PM. The Bulls at 6-9 (0-2) are coming off of a tough loss in overtime against UCONN and are looking to get a much needed win at home in conference play, but the Wildcats are a top-10 program and are looking to shoot the lights out in Tampa.

Power forward Augustus Gilchrist seems to have his head straight as he continues to shoot well from the field and is resembling the player everyone thought he could be this season. Ron Anderson Jr. has emerged as one of the best rebounders, and Anthony Crater seems to be playing the point guard position a bit better.

The Bulls will have to try to contain Corey Stokes, who average 16.9 points per game and is dangerous from 3-point range. Corey Fisher averages 14.9 points per game as well. The Bulls must stop the shooting ability of Nova if they want to stand a chance in this game, but it will be a tough order for the Bulls team that has had questionable play by its guards so far this season. Make sure to come out to the Sun Dome tonight for an entertaining game and cheer for the Bulls as they try to get an upset win in conference play.
