Rich Rodriguez Fired, Not a Surprise

It is the big story today, Rich Rodriguez, former head coach of WVU, has been fired from Michigan after three years of disappointment.

Rich Rod just never fit the Michigan or Big Ten system. He runs a spread offense and defense that is designed to stop spread attacks and fast play makers. His offense stalled out in Big Ten games and the defense was gashed and Michigan fans ready to jump.

Rich Rod is not a terrible coach, but going to Michigan was a big time mistake, the two sides just were never meant to be and now he is looking for a job. There are some fun rumors circling out there about Rich Rod to Pittsburgh, but right now these are just rumors, but who knows, at least he doesn't have a police record before he coaches the team.

Rich Rod will find a new job somewhere, there will always be a team out there looking for a head coach. Michigan will find their man, a "Michigan" man. Watch Brady Hoke, San Diego State head coach. He is a Michigan man, knows how to run a team and defense, and just seems to be the right guy for the job at this point in time (Harbaugh not going to Michigan at this point).
