Over 20 recruits will be on campus this weekend (according to Rivals.com) as Coach Holtz and staff host a big recruiting weekend for the Bulls. Two recruits stand out as top prospects for the Bulls and could be big time players if they somehow commit to USF.
Quarterback Joshua Grady (6'1" 190-pounds) is a very athletic quarterback that has tons of schools offering him scholarships. He has high interest in Iowa State, but also in USF as well. He is a skilled passer and can scrambler, making him a ideal weapon. The Bulls need another quarterback on the depth chart and a possible future star, so there are hopes the Bulls may be able to get him to commit.
Wide receiver Ruben Gonzalez is another top prospect the Bulls are hoping to thrill this weekend. The 6'3" 200-pound wide receiver is a big, body target that also has 4.61 speed, which would make him a huge weapon for the passing game, something the Bulls need big time heading into 2011. He also has interest in Iowa State, but Holtz and company will do their best to keep him in-state and hope he will be at Raymond James Stadium on Saturdays.
