Bulls Offer 2012 Cornerback

From Rivals - Coach Holtz and staff never take a weekend off and this weekend was the same as they made another offer to a high school recruit. Cornerback Chris Bivins got an official offer from USF this weekend (the first school to make an official offer).

The 5'11" 170-pound cornerback is a player the Bulls need to help add depth to their secondary that is already thin.

Bivins is a outstanding athlete. He has been clocked in the 40 yard dash at 4.54 seconds, runs the shuttle run in 4.22 seconds (lateral speed), and has a vertical of 29 inches. He has all of the physical tools that a corner needs and Holtz has already offered.

Being the first to offer Bivins gives the Bulls a slight edge on the Gainesville native. Bivins has interest in many high level programs and the offers will begin to pour in for this talented defender. Hopefully Holtz and staff have already made a lasting impression on the young man and he makes the best decision soon.
