While Spring break is just beginning for some, the baseball team is still hard at work. The Bulls will host Evansville (first meeting between the programs) starting tonight at 7 PM.
The Bulls are in the midst of a two game losing streak (FGCU and UF) and sit at 5-7. They are hoping to get a few wins this second as they continue their non-conference schedule.
The Bulls are sending senior Kyle Eastham to the mound tonight. Eastham was incredible in his first start of the season against FAMU, striking out 11 batters over 7 innings (not giving up a run either). With Barbosa still mending his injured arm, Eastham will have to step up his performance tonight to help the Bulls get a much needed win.
Randy Fontanez is scheduled to take the mound in game one tomorrow at 4 PM and freshman Nick Gonzalez in the night cap. Both pitchers got their first win of the season against FAMU last week (Gonzalez's first win).
Please come out tonight to support the Bulls as they take on Evansville. The Bulls will travel Tuesday to Orlando to take on the Golden Losers of UCF.
