From Greg Auman - I'm a little late getting to this story but still. The Bulls will have a new face on the football field this season. and a tough new name for everyone to pronounce correctly. Offensive lineman/linebacker Mak Djulbegovic out of Carrollwood will join the USF football team this season as a preferred walk-on.
The 6'6" 250-pound athlete could be used at tight end as well as well as offensive line for USF due to his athletic ability, a need a position for the Bulls with Isaac Virgin and Andreas Shields the only go-to tight ends at the moment. He is a bit underweight at the defensive end position, but should be able to find a place on the football field for Holtz and staff.
Mak, who has been playing football since the 8th grade, will join USF this Summer, but may not be able to join the team until the fall football camps when the roster opens up to 115 players. Mak may not get onto the field this season, but he is very talented and will give the Bulls some depth. This also opens up relationships between Carrollwood Day School and USF for future recruiting.
Welcome to the USF family Mak and good luck to the announcers as they try to pronounce his name during a game.

His nickname is The Bavarian War Hammer, which has got to be the best nickname in the team's history, possibly in college history
