Bivins is Now a Bull

After months of pursuit, Coach Holtz and his staff have finally reeled in their major target for the secondary in Chris Bivins. Bivins, of Gainesville High School, was on an unofficial trip to Tampa to compete in the USF Superbull when he decided to end his recruitment and make a commitment to the Bulls. Bivins holds a three-star ranking on Rivals.com, and his summer performances have continued to impress scouts across the state with his athleticism. Bivins is rated as the #57 CB in the 2012 recruiting class.

Chris chose USF over an impressive list of offers, including Arkansas, Kentucky, Utah, South Carolina, and NC State. The 5'11", 170 lb CB's commitment comes three days after his twin sister, Kayla, commited to USF to play volleyball. I hope they have another sibling, so they can just go ahead and come here too. We are obviously thrilled to have both kembers of the Bivins family here in Tampa, and I want to be the first to recommend the change of the city's name to Bivinstown, USA.
