From Rivals - Recruiting never takes a break even as the season comes closer. USF made an offer to 2012 defensive end prospect Pedro Sibiea out of Homestead, Florida.
Sibiea, the 6-3 251-pound star (rated at 3-stars according to Rivals.com) was surprised to get the offer from USF after having little contact with the Bulls. The Bulls are looking for depth and playmaking ability in the defensive end position in the near future with a lack of real depth.
Sibiea has offers from FIU, UF, Cincinnati, UAB, and even Northern Illinois. Miami had been a school he liked (no verbal offer as of yet) but with the recent allegations against the Cane program, I highly doubt he would even look towards them (makes FIU stand out though). It should be interesting to see what the Bulls can do to win his services with the limited number of scholarships left.
Below is some footage from the Under Armour camp. Sibiea enters the highlight reel around 6:01 (just skip ahead if you want to ). He is very quick off the line and has the frame to add more weight and become a real dynamic pass rusher off the corner.
