Jordan Omogbehin Having Enrollment Issues

We feel the same way Stan, you're not alone.
From Greg Auman - The Bulls 2011 basketball season is already going to be a rough one. With the tough schedule and the lack of a true home court, Stan Heath is going to earn his paycheck this season. Now Heath and the USF faithful might have to go the entire season without a fun name, Jordan Omogbehin (not as good as our football names though).

The huge 7-3 freshman from Nigeria, was a commit for the class of 2011 and was expected to either play sparingly or redshirt this season, but now it appears he will have to head to a prep school due to issues with his exam scores.

Omogbehin enrolled this summer, taking 12 credits and appeared to have everything lined up for his enrollment for the fall and begin working with the team even more, but he didn't have the necessary entrance exams scores for the NCAA and would not be eligible to enroll. USF is appealing the ruling and hoping for some sort of leniency, but if he isn't allowed to enroll yet, he will head to prep school (Faith Baptist in Brandon) and will enroll in January.

The Bulls do have sign in the post this season. Ron Anderson Jr. Augustus Gilchrist, and Toarlyn Fitzpatrick along with JUCO transfer Andre Jackson, would make it hard for him to get onto the court this season, so even if he is not on campus day one, he should be able to get here, enroll, and still have 4-years to terrorize the Big East with his size.

We hope he is able to settle the exam score issues soon. Having a player at 7-3 in the Big East conference would be huge even if his offensive abilities aren't that great. Having a hug player in the paint that can play defense, alter shots and rebound will be big for the program down the road.
