Notes From USF Practice - Day 3

Today was the 3rd day of practice for the Bulls as they head to Vero Beach for 12 days (more news always coming out)
Hello USF fans, here are just a few notes from Bulls practice on Day 3. The team held a practice on campus before packing up the buses and sending the team down to Vero Beach. Today's practice on campus was the first in pad and helmets, giving the coaches a chance to see the players in real action. (notes from Adam Adkins).

Holtz mentioned that Marquis White and Elkino Watson (someone I am watching) were a bit out of shape, but were ready for practice and would be ready for the season to start. This is not a huge surprise, but knowing Holtz and Golden, White and Watson will be ready by the season begins.

Holtz also raved about the play of Ruben Gonzalez and Andre Davis, both wide receivers, were impressing early with the ability and route running. Also Chris Dunkley, the wide receiver transfer from Florida, caught his eye. (He has to sit out this season due to the NCAA transfer rules).

More to come tomorrow as the Bulls begin their 4th day of full practice, the first day in Vero Beach.
