Two USF Football Players Won't go to Notre Dame

News is coming out tonight that two players won't be making the trip to Notre Dame on Saturday.
From Greg Auman - As the Bulls prepare for the ND game, just two days away now, two football players won't be making the trip.

Redshirt freshman defensive tackle Todd Chandler has been ruled academically ineligible for the semester and won't make the trip. The 6-0 318-pound former 4-star recruit out of Miami, Florida was one of the top prospects just two seasons ago, but he has not lived up to the hype yet. While performing well this Fall, he didn't make the two-deep depth chart, being beaten out by true freshman Elkino Watson. Chandler can still appeal the decision if he wishes to, but no decision has been made on this yet.

Sophomore running back Bradley Battles has been suspended for the first two games of the season for violating team rules (exact violation has not been stated from USF of course). The 5-9 201-pound tailback out of Marianna, Florida was a 3-star recruit coming out of high school but has not been able to make his way up the depth chart (missed a few games last season with a knee injury) and has been battling for the 3rd running back spot, but has been beaten out by Marcus Shaw at this stage.

These are the latest updates tonight on the suspensions for both players. More information will probably come out tomorrow morning and we will bring you the updates.
