From Adam Adkins - Freshman Antoine Pozniak, originally recruited as a linebacker and moved to defensive end during the fall, is moving back to linebacker.
Pozniak, 6-2 218-pounds, had moved to defensive end to help add depth at the end position (would need to add a lot of weight). He has the frame to add the weight and the athletic ability to get to the ball carrier, but it would appear the coaches feel it is best to keep him at linebacker which is his natural position.
The play of Claude Davis (2 sacks last week) has made this move easier for the coaches now that a reserve speed rusher has emerged on the defensive line (won't have to rush him to the field). Pozniak will red-shirt this season.
