Mike, Jim, and myself are making our picks each week for every Big East game that is played, keep tracking of the Big East and also having a friendly competition to see who knows more about the Big East games.
Louisville over Murray State
It was not a pretty game, the Cardinal offense couldn't get much going, but their defensed bailed them out and got the job done. We all picked this game right. They were facing an FCS opponent, so it wasn't hard to pick this game.
Jim: 1-0
Matt: 1-0
Mike: 1-0
Rutgers over North Carolina Central
This game wasn't even close. The fighting Snookis were able to beat up a FCS team, so they are feeling great about themselves.
Jim: 2-0
Matt: 2-0
Mike: 2-0
Syracuse over Wake Forest
One of the more entertaining games. The Orange looked bad on defense for most of the game but were able to come back in this game, head to overtime, and get a hard fought win.
Jim: 3-0
Matt: 3-0
Mike: 3-0
USF over Notre Dame
No words to describe this game, winning is so sweet.
Jim: 4-0
Matt: 4-0
Mike: 4-0
Pitt over Buffalo
The new high tempo Pitt offense didn't look that great in the first game of the season, but they were able to do enough to stop Buffalo and get the win. We all get the win too, even Jim making the tough call to decide to predict Pitt.
Jim: 5-0
Matt: 5-0
Mike: 5-0
Cincinnati over Austin Peay
This wasn't even close, Cincinnati got a big win and Collaros seems to be in midseason form already.
Jim: 6-0
Matt: 6-0
Mike: 6-0
UCONN over Fordham
This game was pushed back two days and UCONN looked sluggish early in the game, but come on, it's Fordham.
Jim: 7-0
Matt: 7-0
Mike: 7-0
WVU over Marshall
Mother nature does not like football right now. Rain forced this game to be called early, but WVU had a healthy lead and this one was over before it ever started.
Jim: 8-0
Matt: 8-0
Mike: 8-0
So this might be a first, we are all undefeated and called every game right. It was a great week for the Big East and a great week for all of us. Let's see how we do in week two.
