Results from Big East Week 4 Picks

Here are the results of our picks for week 4 in the Big East. Mike and Jim had pulled even with myself hanging back at 20-3 on the season. Now let's see who has pulled out ahead and who has dropped back in the standings (sorry Jim!)

Cincinnati over NC State

Not sure if Cincinnati is that good or NC State is just that bad, but the Wolfpack looked really bad on both sides of the ball as the Bearcat offense continues to rack up the yards and points. We did well here except Jim who called for the ACC win.

Syracuse over Toledo

This was a very entertaining game. The Orange got lucky on a bad call late in the 4th quarter that allowed the game to go to overtime and get the Orange the win. We all rebound here with a win as well.

ND over Pitt

Ugly, ugly game for the offenses here with no one wanting to get into the endzone. The Irish just had a little bit more firepower and got a big win they have been looking for and sends USF's next opponent to a loss. Mike and I move ahead while Jim has another loss.

Rutgers over Ohio

Another game, another win for the fighting snookis over a lower opponent (hurrah for them). We get a win here while Jim failed on his call of the upset special.

UCONN over Buffalo

Somehow UCONN continues to win with their ugly offense. Buffalo is just not a good team and the Huskies were able to do just enoug here to get the win. Jim and I both drop here while Mike pulls even further ahead.

USF over UTEP

This game was not as sharp as the Bulls would want it, but they move to 4-0 while all 3 of us get a much needed win.

Matt: 25-5

Mike: 27-2

Jim: 23-6

LSU over WVU

This game got out of hand for WVU. They couldn't get it going against the brutal LSU defense which might be better than some NFL teams it would look like at times. Mike and I get the win and Jim, sadly, drops another game.

Jim: 24-7

I have come back to take 2nd place while Mike has pulled ahead by two games (jerk, stop being right!). Jim has dropped back to 3rd after a rough week, but we will see if he can rebound this week.
