| The 2011-2012 schedule was released today. |
The USF softball team released their 2011-2012 schedule tonight and will face off against Florida and Michigan in the first month of the season, both ranked last season and will be major powers in the upcoming season as well.

USF surprised a lot of teams last season finishing the year at 33-21. Ken Eriksen led his young team to a huge season, but fell short of the NCAA tournament. Freshman pitcher Sara Nevins was unhittable in 2010 and will be a huge weapon this season. Gina Kafalas and the fast offense will look to put a ton of pressure on opponents as the Bulls look for more greatness on the field and the ultimate goal, the NCAA tournament.
We will be covering all the games when the season comes, still over 140 days away, but hey, we can start to get ready for it.
