| The USF ladies got another big win in overtime today. |
The USF ladies got an overtime win today over Jacksonville to take the game 2 to 1 and improve to 4-2-1 on the season.
The Bulls were down 1 to 0 to end the first half and it wasn't until late in the contest did Valerie O"Brien break through and get the goal to tie the game up in the 87th minute. The Bulls had been aggressive on offense, with Klotz taking 2 shots and Demi Stokes taking 6 shots (got a yellow card on the afternoon), but couldn't break through. Nicole McClure allowed one goal, but made 2 saves and helped shut down the offensive attack from Jacksonville the entire second half.
But just 2 minutes into the overtime period, Taylor Patterson got the game winning goal to give the Bulls a great come from behind victory and help them notch two big wins this weekend.
The Bulls will be facing West Virginia to open up the Big East portion of the schedule on Thursday night. Game starts at 7:30 PM so get to the game and cheer the ladies on as they look to keep the win streak alive.
