USF Volleyball Takes on Northern Illinois

USF needs to rally this afternoon to get a much needed win.
After losing 3 sets to 1 last night to Western Michigan, USF (4-7) takes on Northern Illinois today on the road (game starts at 2PM).

NIU is 10-3 on the season and playing at a very high level right now, so this could be another rough match for the ladies unless they can turn it around on this road trip.

NIU is led by sophomore outside-hitter Lauren Wicinski (6-1). She has 226 kills on the season and 124 digs already, showing her ability all over the court. Senior outside-hitter/middle-blocker Allison McGlaughlin (5-10) has 126 kills and 150 digs on the season. Junior outside-hitter/middle blocker Mary Kurisch (6-2) has 88 kills, 43 blocks, and 37 digs, showing her versatility.

The Bulls really need a win here today. They have fallen flat on the road after winning 4 straight matches in Orlando. After this game, they will travel to New York to take on Syracuse on Friday night (traitors) with the match starting at 7 PM.
