What to do with Your Week Off from USF Football

After USF took a severe beating in Pittsburgh on Thursday in their conference opener, they definitely could use a week off. Unfortunately for USF, they get two weeks to prepare for probably the worst team in the conference. When they return, the Bulls will be looking for their first conference win of the season at Connecticut before returning home to play against Cincinnati for homecoming.

So what do you do in this down week while the Bulls prepare for the Huskies? Fear not, there's plenty to occupy you.

Go See the USF Volleyball Team
Our ladies are 2-2 in the Big East and on track for a successful season. They're coming off a 1-1 weekend against Rutgers and Seton Hall, and are prepared this week for two matchups with Connecticut on Friday (7:00 p.m.), and St. John's on Sunday (2:00 p.m.). The team holds their matches in the USF Campus Recreation Center West gymnasium.

See USF Soccer
Do you know that the USF men are ranked in the top 15 and lead their division in the Big East? USF soccer is one of the best teams on campus this year, and their stadium is something to see. The women's soccer team plays Connecticut on Friday (7:30 p.m.) and Providence on Sunday (1:00 p.m.). The men have one game on Saturday against their division's #2 team, St. John's at 8:00. The soccer teams play in the Corbett Soccer Stadium on campus.

Go to Orlando and Root for Marshall
You don't have to root for Marshall, but you will be a hero to us if you go to the UCF home game this Saturday wearing a USF shirt. If you do that, let me know and I will give you a free t-shirt for being awesome.

Root for Rutgers and UConn
These two teams are likely not a threat to the Big East title this year, but both of them play teams that are. UConn has a game at West Virginia on Saturday at noon, and Pitt goes into New Jersey at 3:30. If USF can't help themselves by getting back on their feet this week, we can certainly hope for a little outside help.

So it's not exactly the weekend we'd normally have if there were football for us, but it's always a good thing to go out and support your teams. Not to mention, you get loyalty points for going to all the games! Don't worry though, we'll be back next week with plenty of hate for UConn.
