Game Day: Louisville

Rise and shine, game day is here! After gorging on turkey and battling the Black Friday crowds over the night, the USF Bulls are hoping they have enough energy for this strange 11AM kickoff. The Bulls, sitting at 5-5, are battling for a bowl game. They are trying to run their bowl streak to 7 straight years, but they face a steep challenge in this one.

The Louisville Cardinals, 6-5, have a chance to clinch a share of the wacky Big East title, so expect the Cards to be energized for this game. They have always struggled playing in Tampa, but are hoping with Charlie Strong calling the shots and Bridgewater under center, they can change their history on the road.

The Bulls may be without B.J. Daniels who was questionable all week. Even if healthy, expect to see Bobby Eveld get plenty of snaps. He has to be smart with the ball in this game and allow the running game to do the work for him. Eveld was awful in his limited action against Miami, failing to get anything going on offense and allowing the punters to own the day.

We are praying in this game. The Bulls really need a win, they need a bowl game to get more practices in and try to avoid a losing record. The Cards are prepared for this game, but the Bulls must be ready to fight back and defend home turf.
