Week 11 is here already and it's time to pick our games again. Mike still leads the overall standings, but I sit in second place, waiting to make my move. Jim sits in third, but is just a game back, let's see if anyone can make up some ground in these games.
Matt: 36-19
Mike: 39-16
Jim: 35-20
USF at Syracuse
Matt: Not sure if I can still pick USF in these games, especially the way they are falling apart right now. I will pick my team, but have little to no confidence left in that team. Pick: USF
Jim: You two can cover this one. Pick: USF
Mike: Sweet Jesus, please let us just win one... USF can't win on Thursdays, and apparently they can't win on Saturdays, so let's see how Fridays go for us. I know it looks crazy to continue picking USF, and SU did slaughter West Virginia, but I think USF has run out of ways to lose and they're going to finally grab a victory.
WVU at Cincinnati
Matt: WVU is not playing that well and finds themselves looking up at Cincinnati ahead in the standings. I am expecting a high scoring game, defense won't be needed in this game. I just have a feeling Cincinnati finds a way to get the victory at home and will outscore WVU, sorry Jim.
Jim: Yeah, special teams haven't helped WVU much this season, and the defense has gone back to the sh*thouse after being in the penthouse this year. However, I have the utmost faith in Coach Holgorsen and the offense to put knock Cincy off their perch. Pick: WVU
Mike: This is a tough game to pick because of what we all thought at the beginning of the season. As much as I hate to see Cincy dominating the league, someone has to win it. And I'd rather they be undefeated in conference play. I'm going with Cincinnati.
Pitt at Louisville
Matt: Pitt is hurting without Ray Graham right now. Tino Sunseri is throwing more and is starting to figure out the offense (high octane of course). The Cardinals are playing their best football at the right time right now and it seems the offense with Bridgewater has figured out what it needs to do to get the wins and move the ball. I see the Cardinals winning a close game, getting them into the Big East title hunt. Pick: Louisville
Jim: I'd rather headbutt a beehive than pick this matchup. However, Sunseri seems to be getting somewhat comfortable with the "High Octane" offense, and out of spite, I'm picking Pitt this week.
Mike: With Graham out and UL coming off a big win at West Virginia, this pick would appear easy. But we're in the Big East, where nothing is a sure bet. As much as I like Charlie Strong, I'm seeing Pitt breaking out despite the loss of their best running back.
Rutgers at Army
Matt: Rutgers turned it around against my Bulls and with Sanu on the field, they can score. They need to find a running game, but against Army, they should win this game. Pick: Rutgers
Jim: Wait, has Army joined the Big East yet? Pick: Rutgers
Mike: Don't get too full of yourselves, Rutgers. You still aren't that great. But Army is awful. I'll pick RU to get a non-conference win on Saturday.
