Rockhold returns for his senior season after missing part of 2011 due to injuries. In the 20 games he played, he hit .194 with 2 home runs and drove in 7 RBIs (went just 12 for 65 in his limited plate appearances). He drew 8 walks and struck out 11 times, showing discipline despite the lack of hits.
Injuries slowed Rockhold after he had a huge 2010 season. He hit .306 with 7 home runs and drove in 33 RBIs in 2010, showing his power at the plate. Now that he is healthy, a lot is expected of him coming into his 2012 season. With questions on offense, Rockhold needs to become a power threat in the middle of Prado's batting order to give the Bulls some firepower.
