The USF Bulls welcome St. John's University into town as the Bulls try to build off of their huge win over then 24th ranked Seton Hall. The Bulls, 10-8 (3-2), are hoping to improve to two games over .500 in conference play. The Red Storm of SJU, 8-9 (2-4) on the season, are looking for a building win during a rough year (still without Coach Lavin).

SJU is 1-4 on the season away from New York, while averaging 66 points per game. SJU has a short bench and a very young team, but it will be a huge battle for the Bulls who need to build off the Seton Hall win (game starts at 7PM).

SJU is led by freshman guard/forward Moe Harkless (6-8 208-pounds). The talented young man is averaging 15.8 points per game (shooting 45% from the floor) while pulling down 8.5 rebounds per game and leads the team with 30 blocks. Freshman guard D'Angelo Harrison (6-3 202-pounds) is averaging 15 points per game (shooting 33% from 3-point range), 4.2 rebounds per game, and leads the team with 28 steals.

Junior forward God'sgift Achiuwa (6-8 236-pounds) is averaging 11.6 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game. He poses a big threat in the paint due to his rebounding skill in the paint. Freshman guard/forward Sir'Dominic Pointer (6-5 196-pounds) is averaging 7 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, and has 26 steals on the season, showing his quick hands and defense.

Freshman guard Phil Greene (6-2 180-pounds) is averaging 5.7 points per game and 2.4 rebounds per game. Junior guard Malik Stith (5-11 187-pounds) is averaging 3 points per game and 1.2 rebounds per game. Freshman forward Amir Garrett (6-6 190-pounds) is averaging 3.9 points per game and 2.3 rebounds per game off the bench.

The Bulls came back from a huge deficit against Seton Hall and put on a show as they rallied to get the huge win. Now they must defend home court again as a team with a losing record, but a team they cannot sleep on. The Bulls have not been able to make any progress in conference play but are now poised to make some improvement and have a great opportunity in front of them, they must take it.
