Game Day is Here!

It's been 20 long years, but it's game time in the big dance.

This is it. 20 years in the making. The Bulls are only a few hours away from taking the court in their first NCAA game in two decades, looking for their first win in tournament history. This team has gone through a lot, from injuries at the beginning, to huge upsets on the road, and finally being selected to the big dance.

As fans, this is simply exciting. The Bulls are the talk of the town, from local channels, to the radio, to general conversation at the water cooler, the energy is buzzing for this team, the players, coaches, and the program. March Madness is officially here in Tampa.

For years, fans have simply turned away from basketball come March. By this point in the year, the Bulls were out of contention and attention turned to spring football and for the summer. But now, it has all changed. Spring football is coming next week, but all eyes in Tampa and across the state will be on the televisions tonight as they watch the Bulls take the floor and erase 20 years of missing the dance.

So tonight, everyone needs to be in front of their televisions, at a watch party, or glued to some sort of electronic device as the team takes the court. It's a great moment for USF athletics, for the program, the players, and everyone associated with the team. The team is building a bright future for themselves and another step of it begins tonight in Dayton.
