USF Baseball Beats Yale 2 to 1

The USF Bulls notched win number 11 tonight as they took down Yale 2 to 1 as they improve to 11-6 on the year and continue to get solid starting pitching and that timely hitting from offense.

Matt Reed went 6.2 strong innings, allowing 5 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, and struck out 3 batters on his way to the win.  Austin Adams went 2.1 innings, allowing 1 walk and struck out 3 batters.  James Ramsay went 2 for 3 with 1 run scored.  Alex Mendez went 1 for 2 as well in the win.

This was a solid win for the team as they continue to play well at home.  With 11-wins, they are getting the pitching they need and the offense manufactures enough to notches solid wins.  The Bulls will next play Illinois State on Wednesday night at 7PM.
