USF MBB Beats Temple Advances to Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament

They are still dancing.
It happened again. The USF Bulls, with defense, determination, and and a ton of fight, rallied from a poor first half where they were down 9 to 19 at one stage and had missed 22 straight shots and came back in the second half to beat Temple 58 to 44. The Bulls couldn't buy a shot in the first half, but Noriega made a big three to get the team within 4 heading into the locker room. The Bulls came out in the second half on an 11 to 2 run, taking the lead and never looking back.

Shaun Noriega had 7 points as he continues to find his range in the tournament. Hugh Robertson had 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Victor Rudd had 17 points and 7 rebounds, hitting 4 of 6 3-pointers. Anthony Collins had 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists (this kid is unreal). Augustus Gilchrist had 2 points and 8 rebounds and Ron Anderson had 5 rebounds. Toarlyn Fitzpatrick had 9 big points as well off the bench.

The team is still dancing. After 20 years of disappointment, the Bulls have won two games in the tournament, but there is still alot of work to do. The Bulls will face Ohio, the 13 seed, for a chance to advance to the sweet 16. The game will tip off at 7:10PM on Sunday.
