USF Falls to Stetson

The Bulls had a lead late, but the bullpen couldn't hold it as the Hatters rallied to beat USF 6 to 4, dropping the Bulls to 23-11 (8-1) on the year, taking both games this season (Bulls have struggled against in-state foes).

Matt Reed got the start, working 6 innings, allowing 3 hits, 3 runs, and walked one batter.  Steven Leasure worked two thirds of an inning, allowing 2 hits.  Nick Gonzalez went two thirds of an inning, allowing 2 hit, 1 run, and struck out one batter.  Ray Delphey followed him, but allowed the Hatters to come back and take the lead for good.  He worked two thirds of an inning, allowing 3 hits, 2 runs, walking 1 and struck out 1 batter.

Kyle Teaf batted lead off (Mendez had the night off) and went 1 for 5 with an RBI.  Chad Taylor went 1 for 4 with an RBI.  Jimmy Falla went 2 for 4.  James Ramsay went 2 for 4 with an RBI as he continues to swing well.

The Bulls will get back to Big East play as they hit the road again to take on Pitt for a 3-game series starting on Friday night at 6PM.
