USF Beats St. John's in Dominating Performance by Andrew Barbosa

The Bulls hit the road for a huge series against St. John's and struck first with a 3 to 0 win against the Red Storm thanks to a huge effort by Andrew Barbosa as the Bulls improve to 30-16 (13-6).

Barbosa was the man again tonight.  He went all 9 innings (longest outing of the year) allowing just 2 hits and struck out 9 batters as the defense turned key double plays and he pounded the strike zone on the way to a big win.

Alex Mendez went 2 for 3 with a double and scored 2 runs to lead the offense.  Luis Llerena went 1 for 2 with a run scored.  James Ramsay went 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs and Todd Brazeal went 0 for 4 but drove in the third run of the night.

The Bulls will take the field tomorrow at 1PM as they look to take the second game in this series.
