2011 stats: Edwards appeared in 5 games last year at the guard position and also contributed on special teams as well.
Position on the depth chart: Edwards was listed as the starting left guard on the two-deep spring depth chart replacing Danous Estenor (held out with a knee injury).
2012 projection: With Estenor going down for the spring, Martin moved from his natural position of left guard to right guard, allowing Edwards to get the snaps with the first time. With Estenor returning in the fall, Edwards may have to take a reserve role behind Martin at right guard, but should see plenty of playing time this season due to his senior leadership and experience on the field.
