2011 season: Hamilton is part of the 2012 recruiting class and enrolled early for the spring semester. In his final season in high school, he totaled 55 tackles, 3 sacks, and forced 5 fumbles. He was rated a 3-star prospect by Rivals.com.
Position on the depth chart: Hamilton missed most of the spring due to an ankle injury and did not appear on the depth chart coming out of the spring practices.
2012 projection: Hamilton is a big, strong defensive tackle that has the potential to be a factor inside (Holtz has stated he reminds him of Terrell McClain and Cory Grissom). Although he missed most of the spring, due to the lack of depth on the roster, Hamilton has a chance (once healthy) to make an impact on the depth chart and work his way into the rotation on the front four.
