The Bulls have landed their 4th commitment of the 2013
recruiting class with the verbal commitment of quarterback Asiantii Woulard
(6-3 205-pounds) out of Winter Park, Florida (Winter Park HS) (had offers from
Ole Miss, UCF, Tennessee, and Maryland among others). Woulard made the decision today on 1010 CBS
Sports with host Justin Pawlowski. Woulard (rated 3-stars by Rivals and 4-stars
by 247 Sports) verbally committed to the Bulls earlier this year, but de-committed
as he wanted to take his visits to other campuses.
Woulard talked to 247 sports about the decision to recommit
(full story here). He stated he wanted
to create history at USF, helping it win its first Big East title, national
championship, and create history here.
He also stated playing early was another draw for him.
After looking around, Woulard has returned to the Bulls,
making him the 4th commit of the 2013 class and helps fill a huge need position
for the team. He joins offensive lineman
Cameron Fraser and wide receivers Tshumbi Johnson and Xavier Richardson in the
class of 2013.
According to Rivals, he did not have an offer from UCF. Great pick up, but I'm still nervous considering our QB situation. Go Bulls!
ReplyDeleteI saw that 247 sports said he had one, hard to know which schools verbally or physically offer a scholarship to these players. QB battle next year will be open with Eveld, Woulard, and Floyd going at it. Looking for them to add another QB to the class as well.
